Rich Carlson is in his fifties and lives in Tucson, Arizona in the southwestern desert of the USA. (The above photograph was taken when he was about forty years old.) He is disabled, but is fortunate to be able to work full-time at a supercenter and he collects and plays with model railroading trains in his free time.
